Aaron Loehr, founded StrataCore in 2003 on the belief that the traditional methodology for assessing and purchasing technology services was broken. With insider experience, Aaron grew StrataCore to 54 people and embarked on a journey to build a repeatable system to evaluate critical technologies and the vendors who supply them.
With 25+ years in the internet infrastructure industry, Aaron has a track record of successfully guiding major expansions, strategic partnerships, and leading complex technical transformations for both public and private companies.
Under Aaron’s leadership, his companies won numerous “Best Company to Work For” awards, including from Fortune, Puget Sound Business Journal, and Seattle Business Magazine. He’s also won awards for building a “Most Equitable Workplace.” Aaron shares his keys to success in this Puget Sound Business Journal article and credits his strong team of advisors, participating in Vistage (6 years), and the Entrepreneurs Organization (8 years).
In 2022 Aaron partnered with AppDirect’s Capital Invest Program. AppDirect’s Advisor program has over 10,000 partners. In 2023 StrataCore was named AppDirect’s #2 partner. In 2024, StrataCore was named #1.
The 2022 partnership with AppDirect allowed Aaron to focus on multiple endeavors including moving psychedelic care forward. In 2024 Aaron founded the Coalition for Better Community Health (CBCH) to legalize clinical and supervised psychedelic care. (Washington State bill #SB 5201). This Coalition represents numerous stakeholder groups, politicians, and experts, and Aaron is the largest capital funder in Washington State on these efforts.
Aaron is on the Board of Directors for The Mission Within Foundation, an organization that has treated over 1,200 special forces veterans with psychedelic-assisted therapy, and he completed his hands-on psychedelic facilitator practicum training with Right to Heal.
For community service, Aaron works with war refugees who supported our troops. In these efforts, Aaron recently hosted an Afghan family, in his home, for 14 months. Aaron is also active in local politics and twice moderated debates between Seattle mayoral candidates.
In his free time, Aaron enjoys boating and is a certified captain for vessels up to 30 tons. He likes to fly and has his solo aircraft pilot’s license. Aaron also enjoys spending time with his 14-year-old twins.
A Seattle native, Aaron earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from Whitman College and in 2019 completed a 1-year Executive Leadership Program at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
