As consumers and businesses increase their demands for internet data, the Data Center Interconnect (DCI) market is growing rapidly. An important partner in this system are Internet Exchanges (IXs). Most Internet Exchanges are headquartered outside of North America, and they are often created as nonprofit corporations.
