It was recently thought that growth in high-density data storage would drastically increase the need for this type of cooling system, which saves power when servers are functioning in large groups. New technologies have emerged to allow companies to store their data at remote locations or to be stored on site without using the type of high density systems that would prompt these types of cooling systems. Therefore, the systems have been selling less quickly than expected.
